The Fairbanks B.E.S.T. program allows students to access their courses from the comfort of their own home. Because our courses are 100% online, Fairbanks B.E.S.T. offers the flexibility that a traditional classroom cannot offer. So how does it work?

Free Program
Since this is a public program, the same funding used for traditional students can be used for online students; therefore there is no fee for taking online courses for most students.

Everything is Online
Fairbanks B.E.S.T. works just like a traditional high school, except everything is online. Students can log-in and access their courses from home, the public library, or anywhere there is a computer and Internet access.

Teacher-Supported Learning
Students can receive individualized attention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from our support staff including certified teachers 5AM-7PM (AKST) weekdays. Teachers communicate with the students through phone, email, and instant messaging. A virtual whiteboard is even available for those students who need additional assistance.
