We offer students, K-12, the ability to create a home school learning program that works B.E.S.T. for them. Each student is offered an allotment for purchasing curriculum that meet the family’s learning goals while still maintaining alignment with an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) and state Grade Level Expectations (GLE’s).

In this program students:

Are eligible to participate in athletics, music programs, and other extra-curricular activities at their attendance area schools according to district/state guidelines.

May enroll in up to two classes at local district schools.

Are assigned a certified educational coordinator who is knowledgeable of various curricula, courses, resources, and learning styles as well as B.E.S.T. policies and Fairbanks North Star Borough School District requirements.
