Our program allows students throughout the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District to learn from the comfort of their own home. It is our goal to provide flexible options for students throughout the district, so they can learn their way, on their schedule.

Mission
Fairbanks Building Educational Success Together (B.E.S.T.) is a school without walls where parents bear the primary responsibility for the management of their children’s education. B.E.S.T. is committed to a framework in which the home is supported by the community as a viable educational alternative. B.E.S.T. is a non-sectarian partnership between students, parents, professional staff, and community members where families and staff work together to customize an education for their children.
